Takashi Miike’s classic fucked up and disgusting storyline. Wasn’t all that interesting sadly. Good direction though, just wasn’t fond of the story.

Not sure why I didn’t know Michael Mann was awesome. Watched this and Heat and in both, Mann does a great job of making you sympathetic towards each and every character. His villains are likable and his heroes have depth.
