Really visually gorgeous movie and that’s obvious. I also really enjoyed not being able to label Bill or the Farmer as a “bad person” until the end when Bill is shooting at cops. It was such an interesting choice to have Linda narrate the whole thing. I love the description of the film as a “screen poem.” That’s really what it felt like. A biblical screen poem.

The Bad and the Beautiful 1952
Love stories about people who go from loving to hating each other. This is definitely one of them. I can’t decide if the first or second vignette is my favorite though. What an incredible score too. Kirk Douglas is awesome.

Dune: Part Two 2024
THIS IS A 5 STAR MOVIE. I watched this in IMAX, it was awesome. My jaw was dropped for like an hour. This is what I imagine it was like to watch Star Wars for the first time. Incredible sound design. It felt like there wasn’t much score or if there was that the sounds of the movie are so rhythmic and musical that they were part of the score themselves. Please watch it, please watch it in IMAX.
