A rewatch for me and even better than the first time. I enjoyed Greta’s twists on a modern take of Little Women. The casting was superb, especially Jo. My heart always felt sad for Beth, a sweet girl who carried the pain of the world in her eyes . A Real Pain 2024
I didn't expect this movie to make me so emotional. It had me thinking about David and Benji's personalities and the people in my life they reminded me of. We often admire others and what they bring to the table, rarely realizing that the other side of the coin is pain and we all carry it in one way or another. This film highlights generational trauma and how we all navigate it differently. It left me reflecting on the human experience and the way we process our individual and collective struggles.
