Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose 2023
I really like it when a movie manages to sow something philosophical into its themes. I can see how some people wouldn’t like it, and describe the ending as unsatisfying. But this movie lays out at the very beginning the story it’s about to tell. It’s on the viewer to think on what it says about the characters in the story, and even themselves. It’s just human nature to want more when we feel unsatisfied. Just the like question posed in the film: “what if there is nothing after this?” This shouldn’t mean that the experience wasn’t worth it.
