  A sincere, diligent and perspective-altering doc that gives as much time to the untold story of the Titanic’s Chinese survivors as it does to the process of uncovering their story in the first place.

  Genuinely moving in places - as when a survivor’s son meets the grandson of the officer who rescued his father. And only very occasionally teeters on the brink of the silly, when deploying the kind of Blue Peter-y mini set-pieces that lesser and less serious docs than this are stuffed with.

  An ignored story finally told, solidly.
