Borderline perfect movie, I think I said “hell yeah” like 8 times.

Definition of a fun watch, but the biggest laugh is when (Oscar winner) Will Smith rapping comes in over the credits.

Maybe this makes me a fake #FilmBro, but I’ve never seen the original or most of the source text. Regardless, this edition bangs. It’s incredible to look at, scary (to me), dread inducing and incredibly acted, and horny. The last act is just why go to the movies. I saw plenty I have never seen before, and what I had, ne’er done so spectacularly. Lily rose Depp and Billy Skärsgärd (I’ve given up) are revelations. Simply lived up to the hype. PROVIDENCE!

Watched, then listened to Bob Dylan songs with my family at Christmas, then all the way back home. If you knew only that…Sometimes it’s hard in this genre to separate the quality of the picture from the objectively great songs in it (looking at you, all music bio-pics ever). I don’t have that problem here. Chalamet is right for the time and place, the story is both small (what should I play at this festival?) and leads to something bigger…
