Longlegs is a predictable and sometimes scary work that falls into the indie movie trap which makes it perfect for captivating audiences with its mediocrity.

Visually stunning, extremely tense, and scary, Alien Romulus returns the franchise to its horror roots in spectacular fashion, albeit forgetting originality at times.
Alien Romulus is to Alien as Force Awakens is to A New Hope. Both movies essentially run the same plot at different times, with updated graphics and settings, and introduce something new in the final 30 minutes. That is not to say this film is bad. I enjoyed it immensely, but some originality would be appreciated.
