Dead Poets Society 1989
I watched this as a kid that was way too small to really understand the message and the ending but it still left a strong impression on me and I’ve always called it one of my favorites. Now, finally watching it again, I was surprised at just how much of the movie I remembered. I remembered pretty much every scene despite not having seen the movie since I was probably around 7 y/o. Just goes to show how much it stuck with me.
If there’s one movie I’ve seen that I think everyone should watch it’s probably this one. 10/10.

This feels like a movie that I could rewatch so many times and never get bored of it. Funny cause the movie is about burnout lol.
This movie has the Ghibli charm, of course, but the theme of burnout in the final act of the movie is actually so real. I love it.
