When I say this is one of the greats i mean it. Bittle Boys takes the idea of cinema and elevates it to a level hitherto unknown. Damn those boys, but also praise those boys. for he who be a bittle be a god amongst man.

The Deer Hunter 1978
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Slightly bloated run time, felt especially in the last 20 or so minutes and no fun DVD bonuses like Thunderbirds (2004). How did THIS win an Oscar?? I thought the score was excellent however and the acting was bang on. 3 of these 4 stars comes from the bit where they drive off without the guy.

The Commitments 1991
A lot like Fame really, funnily enough. Not quite enough horses for my tastes- a few more and i would have been sold though. A solid musical ensemble cast and moments of humour collapse in to make an honest, genuine appreciation of Soul and the Irish working class. And for all those following my modelling career I can confirm a new look is in development. Something kitsch, a little snarky, and equestrian themed…. Stay tuned for the next review…
