Where do I even begin with this movie. In my eyes this is perfect. The sets are stunning, the script is tight and witty; not a second feels wasted. Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson really sell their rivalry and have great chemistry on screen. Danny Elfman delivers on the soundtrack and delivers probably the most iconic superhero soundtrack ever. The gothic setting of Gotham city is depicted like never before, It really is its own character. I’ll keep it brief…

This movie serves as a satire of the slasher sub-genre of horror. The jokes about horror tropes work until the movie executes them anyway. Stu is freaky, and dies in a devious way. Didn’t feel scared at all throughout the movie but I watched it with davieboy86 and Lord_Asparagus and it was a hoot. All the characters died before half life came out🥺.
