End of the Rainbow is an interesting documentary. There is no narration, it's all just shown how it is. The film shows multiple different perspectives on the building of a goldmine in West Africa by a multinational corporation. All the interviews are great and it was quite good for something I had to watch for a class.

The direction and cinematography are great too. Rural Louisiana swampland is treated as a character within the film. Samuel L. Jackson turns in a career performance, as do Jurnee Smollet as Eve and Lynn Whitfield as Roz. The film was surprisingly enjoyable, I'm starting to really appreciate these southern-gothic tales.
