Hitchcock's most personal, deepest, emotionally most complex and visually most stunning picture. An incredible film that is driven by pure obsession and lost love. From a strictly rational and logical view, Vertigo (like many or most of Hitchcock's movies), is utter nonsense, but the great thing about films is that they are not supposed to be logical and rational. Films, in fact any art form, awake and create emotions and feelings which are pretty much the exact opposite of rationalism…
