Black Bag 2025
So, so, so good. Loved it being a suspenseful spy mystery moment. My favorite scenes are arguably the first dinner scene or the therapy scene with Cate Blanchett and Naomie Harris. Everyone played their characters so well and it was amazing how easy it was to get into the movie.
Michael Fassbender was so good as George. Loved and lowkey need my own Geroge lmao

Went into this blind and left pleasantly surprised. Lot’s of interesting philosophical questions and I like the way they handled them.
Mark Ruffalo as the charismatic leader with Toni Collette as the skinny white woman by his side with the other guy filming everything as the right hand man had such a good dynamic and was an interesting way to show a cult/cult leadership thru this lens.
Overall really enjoyed and triggered grandma to be back in her filmbro era.

Scream VI 2023
All I can say is, that was cunt. Literally such a fun movie, so much amazing action/gore, and the theater was living for it. I’m not a big horror person and the only other Scream I’ve seen was 5 (which I did enjoy), but this movie was hands down so amazing. Everyone in the theater was so into the movie, which made the experience 10x better.

My feelings during this movie were like broken wave machine. A couple of high moments, with lots of low, ending a little better, but ultimately nothing super amazing.
The middle section of the movie dragged for too long and I couldn’t deal with the overarching bad acting between the group. Shoutout to Alison Pill for carrying this movie on her back and giving the performance and drama I needed.
