  -Enjoyed the film!

  -Thought movie was OK overall but just didn't vibe with me
  -Art and animation was good. Some of the effects were very impressive and I did dig the visual style. I haven't watched as much recent DreamWorks stuff but it's interesting that it is a noticeable style. Not as much of a fan of the quippy, smirky animal character design, but that's just a personal preference

  Aliens 1986

  -less horror, more action than the original. made obvious for example by how brightly lit everything is in comparison to Alien, the monsters are more visible, the final acts are basically non stop action, etc. It works but definitely a different style of film
  -Ripley gets more to her character in this one and I like it. Rest of the characters are a little thin but that's similar to Alien too
