1. I strongly disapprove of (children’s?) choir covers of Radiohead songs.
2. Dutch with random English thrown in is such an unserious language.
3. I thought the opening was strong (and very relatable), but the ending was predictable and trite.
Overall, a fun short that would be an average Black Mirror episode.
A fun cheesy action movie with a surprisingly compelling satire of a fascist dystopia. Sandra Bullock’s straight woman acting was perfect for this movie, as was Wesley Snipes’s totally unhinged performance.
This movie has poor writing, bad animation, and somehow is even more racist than the original musical, but I think it loops back around to laughably ridiculous.
Surprisingly really really good. Very campy and amazing special effects for the car. The headlight visuals were also very cool.
Saw this in a theater with an audience that was eager to provide a laugh track on a scratchy film reel that felt like it probably dated back to the original theatrical run, which all added to the fun vibes of this movie.
