  I've waited about 6 months to watch this, but in some ways it's been more like 10 years.

  When I was the same age as Elias and Alexander, happy gay films about people my age straight up did not exist. There was nothing teenage me could look at as a positive example of how things could get better or how I didn't need to suppress my feelings. I desperately wish I had this when I needed it 10 years ago, but it's at least comforting to know that people in that same position now have this film.

  To Kill a Mockingbird 1962

  I didn't want to rewatch something I'd seen before, but I also didn't feel up for watching something totally new. The only option was to watch the film adaptation of a book I read in school.

  This is a much better way of getting the story than reading way ahead in class because the dumb as shit chavs that got picked to read it aloud were illiterate and went at a snail's pace. How the fuck were they even in top set anyway?! Madness.

  Film's pretty good I guess.

  As a Blur fan, I obviously enjoyed it. But at the end of the day, it's mostly just a bunch of middle-aged guys being existential and waffling for an hour and a half.
