Masks 2017
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I have been following the progress of the Masks Trilogy since first hearing about it in 2013 and was really looking forward to it. I saw it at the Terror Film Festival and it was well worth the wait!
Masks is comprised on three short film segments (Sentient, Façade and Exordium) that are edited together into a 41 minute featurette.
**Spoilers Ahead**
SENTIENT: The featurette opens with the murder of a homeless drunk named Kruck (Jesus M. Villanueva) who falls…

The Burnt House 2009
I bought this film on a whim because I really enjoy independent films and the people that work so hard on them. I was happy that I did!
Great story, believable acting, terrific special effects and above all it scared me! I think the helpless feeling this film gave me made it even scarier as the female lead is alone in the country where nobody can help her! It just got in my head thinking about it!

I'm serious! I don't understand the jealous hatred some "reviewers" post about this film both here and especially on Amazon. I guess it's true. Those who can't do, BASH! Speaking of "bash", METHODIC has the distinction of being the very first "basher" film! Anyway, sure there's a similarity to HALLOWEEN, but director Chris R. Notarile freely admits his love of that film and that METHODIC was originally intended as a reboot / remake…

Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy 2010
I could write a ten page review about how much I loved this, but I'll spare you all! In a nutshell, this is a comprehensive and detailed look at not only what went on behind the scenes while making the Nightmare films, but it's full of great interviews with actors and crew.
We get to learn what everyone involved experienced before, during and after being in their respective films and it is absolutely riveting!
Special mention has to go to Heather Langenkamp for her work and dedication on this project!
It's impossible to be a fan and not love this!
