It's got fantastic sound and visual design, so it makes for a very entertaining watch. It confused me though. Probably would have helped if I'd seen the trilogy before

Spaceballs 1987
For a movie that's almost 35 years old, Spaceballs holds up surprisingly well. It's somewhat predictable since it's a parody, you always know what's coming up, yet they manage to do it in a way that's fresh and still funny all these years later. John Hurt's cameo alone is one of the best cameos in existence, but throw in everything else and you've got a movie that is just as good as the one it's parodying. In fact, some might say it's better.
