Sophie thatcher is always a treat. This movie is entertaining and is also bad. It had potential because it touches on a few potent, relevant fears for the collective. However, its execution was ham-handed to its detriment and grew more and more tasteless as the film went on. Still a fun watch hehe 🤡😌

The abstract nature of a lusty situationship that represented something so wildly different to both parties was captured visually, poetically, and sometimes, sonically. Very sensorial with an impressive, unique interpretation of the dream and psychedelic states. Brief synesthesia on film. Confusing soundtrack. Pretty authentic representation of dope sickness. More satisfying as a film from an artistic perspective than a narrative one. A little long but worth experiencing.

Okay, so there are some definite accomplishments in this film. For one it is scandalously exciting and the content is so welcomed. The mental games are hot and stimulating, even if a leap sometimes. There are several truly authentically kinky moments I appreciated, and I’m glad we didn’t get some 50 shades leather and restraints textbook trash.
