Loved everything about this! A culmination of everything great about movies. The sound design is such a strong presence during the movie and it heightened almost every scene. The cinematography was STUNNING and one of the nicer films i've seen in a while. Cailee Spaeny has a raw natural talent that was the perfect anchor to this movie. I'm so fond of her and can't wait to see where her career goes. It's promising already! The sequences in this movie…

This was the coziest movie I've seen in a while. I think it accurately teeters on the exciting potential and sometimes depressing moments that the holidays can bring. Intertwined with the holiday respite, there are equal parts of unfortunate reality that creep in that steers 'The Holdovers' away from its occasionally naive holiday movie counterparts. I had a grand old time watching this honestly ... predictable but clever in its execution. Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid were such a great duo. She's also incredibly beautiful and I had my eyes glued to her the entire time. I'll definitely be rewatching

A relentless journey of terror and guts. The sound design was extremely well done and probably one of the better parts of the film. It felt all consuming in this tense claustrophobic way. The performances weren’t much to write home about besides the wickedly freaky alyssa sutherland. She played her part so well and was the true highlight of the movie. The crew also did well with the scenery of the complex and somehow made the setting super creepy. The…
