  The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023

  ★★★★ Rewatched 05 Apr 2023

  If I told someone that I’ve seen Ghibli movies and a Super Mario movie at the cinema, it will sound like I was born in the ‘70s.

  But it’s 2023, and to be able to experience both makes me grateful of being alive during this timeline. I enjoyed the visual treat, and the scores are something I’d play on long workdays for better perception of the task at hand.

  I got lucky to be my friend’s +1 to the Indonesian premiere. Will post no spoilers but I assure you that the trailers didn’t reveal too much of the story.

  All the ugly posters were quickly forgiven.

  4,5/5 stars because the perfect Spider-Man movie is Into the Spider-Verse.
