There are films which increase in poignancy as the run time progresses, and then there's Ridley Scott's Thelma & Louise.

This is one of those films that was hard to coordinate my thoughts on. There were moments in the film that struck me as a stroke of genuis, and yet I wasn't really that enamoured with it as a whole. Thankfully, a night of sleep has allowed me to organize and streamline my thoughts a bit more.

Is creativity with no purpose or direction creativity at all? That is in fact the question that kept resonating through my mind throughout the viewing. There is simultaneously too much and nothing going on at any given point of this film. Quite the accomplishment.
