  Stanley Nelson, director of Vanguard of the Revolution, has said that his film "is the first that gives a really clear idea of what the FBI and J. Edgar Hoover did to undermine the Black Panthers". Meanwhile, this documentary came out decades earlier and did a way better job at covering the same subject matter. They even managed to interview political prisoners like Mutulu Shakur, Mumia Abu-Jamal, and Leonard Peltier, who are still in prison all these years later. Free 'em all!

  Happy Birthday Chairman Fred Hampton!

  This is a must-watch, filled with so many important quotes. It's amazing what Chairman Fred was able to do in such a short period of time. He was only in the Black Panther Party for about a year, and during that year alone he accomplished more than most people will in their lifetime.

  Unfortunately not many people will watch this movie (available for free), but a lot of people will go see the upcoming film…
