  A gorgeous film that felt more like a shitty propaganda piece then anything of substance.
  Tbf my fault is that I'm a white boy from the north who doesn't actually know anything about the war on drugs and mexico etc so maybe im wrong. but the whole film felt very sensationalized, and to what end? The film felt scared to pick a side and as a result the drama and sensationalizing felt tacy, like a evil cartoony charcuterie of Mexico.
