  I did not expect this film to be so touching, romantic, and frank. I am impressed by the optimism and also the groundedness of youth in this one. Young love is truly once in a lifetime.

  Stunning exposition on the systems we continuously believe in yet continuously fail us. This is all the definition of human filmmaking, to see how the dominos tumble and how the constructs we mindlessly have done to simplify and to put things "in order" has made us objects rather than subjects.

  This is about how humans ultimately are fool in the greater universe, how truth is much bigger than we are, and how our intersections collide and punctuate through everyone. TOTAL MASTERPIECE. 10/10.

  Drive My Car 2021

  Drive My Car was explicably the most personal film I've ever watched in my life. The screenplay is also the best I've seen in all-time. The cacophonic, cathartic and sublime nature of an artist's life is truly erratic and beautiful at times. I just cannot wrap my head around how I was fully immersed, not once ever steering my thoughts away from the film. Only masterpieces can move me to that level of focus. I just am happy that I finally watched the best film of the year.
