Having watched this film twice and been left speechless both times, this was a difficult review to write.

I don’t watch horror, not since I was a teenager anyway so I'm no expert, but having watched Get Out, and now Us, I’ll watch everything Jordan Peele does. Everything.
Us is deep and dark, creepy and chaotic, twisted and traumatic, and weird - and weirder. Multi-layered and overflowing with symbolism, this is a film that invites repeated viewings with hours spent analysing and discussing. Refusing to answer or explain everything, it allows for audience imagination and interpretations.

Let me be very clear. Becky Something stinks; a foul, despairing, clinging, stench that is at once both intoxicating and repugnant. Elisabeth Moss, however, doesn’t.
Her performance as the self-destructive 90’s punk savant, Becky Something, in Her Smell, is a full-on frontal assault of the senses. With smeared make up, snarling laughs, and gleeful vitriol, curiously reminiscent of the Joker, Moss is mesmerising.
