  this could be the only movie i ever watched and i would feel like i know everything about storytelling and film-making. if this is a debut feature film, the future of film-making is so incredibly bright. the fact that wells didn't get an oscar nomination for best director is a crime. that last show could be nominated for by itself.

  and if it had none of that good stuff it would still get five stars because we get paul mescal playing a great dad.
