The twist is too huge. As a result, much like Diabolique or The Sixth Sense, this film doesn't lend itself to being rewatched.
Simple story. Predictable but a fun watch.

I laughed out loud a few times during this screening which earned it its stars. There were a handful of times where I felt bored I'm sad to say.
None of the characters seemed very well developed... even Mank. The reason, I think, was the faux-40's writing style where every remark is well calculated and layered in either sarcasm, an inside joke or obscure reference to some "who's who" or current event that most 2020 movie goers miss entirely. There is not a whole bunch I feel compelled to say about this one. All in all it was a great ride. Epic shoot outs in broad daylight, in the middle of an intersection brought back memories of Assault on Precinct 13. Cops getting wasted, and bad guys taking shottie slugs to the guts. Typical mafia style…
