  The audacity for this year’s LFF surprise film to start with the sound of an orchestra tuning and not be TÁR.

  Can you even call this satire? There are cheap laughs and little else, and works neither as a thriller or horror.

  It takes the piss out of highbrow art, thinks it’s elevated middlebrow entertainment, but is actually just lowbrow garbage.

  No surprise when Adam McKay’s production credit appeared at the end.

  I’ve had to endure my fair share of these types of grimey art school stoner kids at music gigs in London. Making an aimless hangout movie following them ramble uninteresting unstructured thoughts is borderline sadistic.

  Half my row had left before the end. I managed to transcend the boredom and reach a comfortably catatonic state.

  I hope they had a fun time making it.
