Watching “Monster” is like watching a flower blossom in real time. Each petal unfolds a new development that adds depth, cohesion and beauty to the film. What starts off as a mystery, demanding fear of the inhuman, inflicting the same feeling as the uncanny valley would, slowly unravels into the warmest and most human experiences I’ve ever had watching a film.
