RED ROOMS feels like clutching a high voltage barb wire. The degree of sadism and perversion is over the top but nothing is ever shown. The protagonist, almost autistic and highly gifted in all things with ones and zeros, has us on the leash acting unforeseeable and unexplainable while the music helps to lead us into very dark places.
There is no release when the credits roll although somehow justice is served - but still the horror stayed with me…
