  Phew! Pleasantly surprised. This was a really entertaining film. Unsurprisingly nowhere near the same league as Kubrick's classic, but a pleasant ode to the first film nonetheless. Ewan McGregor and young Kyliegh Curran are excellent together, but Rebecca Ferguson steals the show, she's terrific as villain Rose the Hat.

  Best King adaptation of the year, easily.
