    The Bad and the Beautiful

    The first movie I’ve had to make 12 google searches to figure out how to watch.

    It was worth it though. The film medium is so strong and so malleable. At times I struggle to figure out how I can grab just a slice of the emotions evoked from film and then harness that into a still piece of illustration. This is one of those movies that continues to not only challenge but to inspire.

    Hey, I liked it.
    Harrison Ford was great, I like Sam Wilson’s character, some really cool action scenes. Obviously some dumb plot threads, and the *super intelligent* villain is frustratingly dumb. 

    I just like superhero shlock honestly. This doesn’t feel like the movie is actively making fun of me for watching it like Thor Love and Thunder or Ant-Man Quantumania.

    Still, it is strange to make this a sequel to the Hulk movie from 2008, and a Disney+ show, and…

    Rehashes everything from the Alien franchise, and unfortunately not just the good stuff. It’s directed well, and the start of the film is great but once we get into the meat of the movie, there is only a couple good sequences.
