The Parent Trap 1998
I haven’t seen this since around the time it came out. It’s pretty competent with standard kid-friendly slapstick hijinks: people fall in water, get bugs or other creepy crawlers put on them, etc. Lindsay Lohan’s performance is still really impressive. Patlabor: The Movie 1989
Incredibly tedious, boring and obtuse giant robot mystery. Too many characters to keep track of some of whom are introduced way late in the movie. It really chose the least interesting and least accessible way to explore the subject matter. For being about malfunctioning giant robots going berserk, the action is very sparse and anticlimactic.
