    Captain America: Brave New World

    ★★★½

The film finds Sam (Anthony Mackie) meeting with Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford). But then, things go haywire when a shadowy figure is pulling the strings behind a huge conspiracy. Great performances and action throughout made for an entertaining movie. I haven’t been able to find any of the reshoots at all, which wasn’t a distraction. The villain didn’t bring much to the table, which was definitely lacking. Overall I definitely recommend watching it, to form your own opinion.

    Transformers One

    ★★★★

Transformers One showcases the humble beginnings of Orion Pax (Chris Hemsworth) and D-16 (Brian Tyree Henry). With good humor and action throughout make for a satisfying adventure. I liked the chemistry between the leads, there was emotion there that carries over. The animation was on point too, I was impressed with the character designs. Overall a refreshing entry to the long running franchise.

Deadpool & Wolverine finds Wade (Ryan Reynolds) wanting to make himself useful. Once he clashes with Logan (Hugh Jackman) our journey awaits. From start to finish, this was a riveting and funny experience. The film overall is paced well, that didn’t take much for me to get invested. Full of laughs and heart to match, with a few surprises as well that made me grin. Overall, strong performances with plenty of action throughout, makes for a great time while seated in the theater.

The Batman is a refreshing take on such a timeless character. Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) seems to be a very lost and conflicted soul in Gotham. The film really does a beautiful job at flowing at such a graceful pace, witnessing the early stages of not only Batman, but others involved too. Selina Kyle (Zoë Kravitz) is an absolute scene stealer who just brightens up the screen. Riddler (Paul Dano) a tactical yet psychotic being gave me chills. To wrap…
