Rabbit Hole 2010
i did not like this film. I’ve been working with the script for class for 10 weeks and somehow the actual movie seemed to lose all manner of meaning. I’m not sure why but the performances were… not my favorite… the music made the whole thing feel like a lifetime movie. I obviously have never lost a child so take my opinion with a grain of salt but I feel like this movie was held back by its poor direction…

i have both so many thoughts about this film and none at the same time. Robert. incredible work. like actually phenomenal performance on his part definitely the best part of this film. i am confused on how it took us 1 hour to get to the actual plot of the film. why have the drug scenes?? why have the obviously lesbian woman try to sleep with mickey?? so many plot points that were so random. the second act was soo good. why wasn’t that the whole movie??
