It’s passable but not worth seeking out. The humorous tone didn’t quite work for me here, because they only committed to it like 25% of the time & then the other 75% of the time it seemed serious. You could tell it was based on a short story, the stretched out timeframe & weak character motivation all felt a bit underdeveloped & one note.
But mostly it just feels like a subpar version of Final Destination! And we already have those, they are called “the many sequels to Final Destination” … so this just feels unnecessary.
