  Not going to lie. I’m confused. Hate to admit it. Usually I don’t like the confusion but I still really dig it. There’s a lot more going on here than I picked up so it demands a rewatch. Tones great. Gets nutty. Curious to go back.

  Wild to see modern Terry starting to come through and then go all Badlands on us in the end. I think I liked the movie I wanted this to be more than the one it actually was, but maybe that’s okay?

  It’s wild that this film really is magical. It was so effective. Loved how focused it was while leaving so much space for the audience to think and feel what this boy was doing and what the story might be saying. A bit of a fluffy review from me because it really did take my guard down.
