Was gonna make a Ken Carson lyric joke in my review but upon finishing the movie it just doesn’t feel right.
Utterly outstanding in every desolate lonely shot and every incomprehensibly heavy conversation. I too would probably wander aimlessly through the Texas desert after pushing my wife and child out of my life only to realize they were the only two people I loved. The entire last hour of this was heartbreaking. His tears as he drove away knowing that he reconciled the people he lost but that he couldn’t be there with them going forward quite literally drove a rusty stake through my heart.
