  Absolutely wild that I’d never seen this. I mean, it’s great. More iconic songs than any other musical I’ve seen thus far, plus it’s gorgeous and funny and well acted and f*ck N*zis and Julie Andrews has the purest voice ever and I’d be frolicking in those hills too.

  While it feels a little drawn out and stilted at times, there is so much joy in this movie. “Ease on Down the Road” will be stuck in my head for a long time—Quincy Jones sure knew how to arrange some horns, huh?

  Real life funny in a very stage play kind of way. Every character feels real and whole, and I genuinely cared for each of them. Loved the whole premise as a vehicle for their interactions with all of the secondary characters.
