    Deadpool & Wolverine

    ★★

Deadpool and Wolverine sees Deadpool pulled from his quiet life by some assholes as he partners with a reluctant Wolverine on a journey to save his universe.

I'll be honest, I do not like this move. It has an excellent opening scene, some laughs and that is it. Once you get to thinking about the plot, everything falls apart. I'm going to get to spoilers so to make this quick, if you like the characters and have seen most of…

It can't rain all the time

I love the setting of the film. It's dark, gritty, wet all the time. This is a grimy city with bad people running amuck. It's exactly the right place for a figure like The Crow to unleash upon. The city also contains a number of memorable characters.

Some of the laser fights are awful and noticably contain stormtrooper aim from all parties…

    In Bruges

    ★★★★

I had never heard of this film until it was recommended to me, and I am so glad I watched.

In Bruges sees two London-based Irish hitmen in hiding, with a phone call looming from their enraged boss.

Colin Farrell is a gem. He's comedic gold, has excellent mannerisms and brings so much to the character. Ray is rude, can't sit still for five minutes, and very broken. Farrell is an amazing actor. You can feel the emotions, the regret,…
