What could have been just a John Wick knockoff is elevated by the always-wonderful Bob Odenkirk in a brilliant bit of casting. All due respect to Keanu, but Bob eats much more scenery as a true sad sack turned badass...or revived badass. There are some truly inspired action and death sequences in this that will satisfy even the most diehard aficionado. There’s a sniper rifle takedown that made me want to stand in my seat. Bottom line, I had a good time. I think most will, too.
