  Good movie. The bizarro dialouge and nonsensical actions really add to the huge gap between this seedy underbelly and normal suburban life. It also shows well the same being victimized comes with. Don’t know if that was intentional but him dismissing the pain rossalini feels in front of Dern shows shame of a victim better than anything I’ve seen before. Hopper is really fun here. Fits that bizarre style so well. Pretty funny too with the Pabst blue ribbon.…
