I really enjoyed this film... Andrew Garfield is spectacular. I knew a bit about the story beforehand and a handful of songs so it was emotional to see it come to life.
Really.clever style, great performances all round.
I take a point off for Lin Manuel having to put himself in the movie as per usual... that just annoyed me.

Zack Snyder's Justice League 2021
So much dumb slowmo. No wonder its 4hrs long. There are some cool shots for sure, but a lot of extraneous exposition. It takes forever to introduce the characters and the story, and some characters disappear for an hour or more before they come back - you forget they were even in it.

Promising Young Woman 2020
Candy coloured and sprinkled with a thrilling soundtrack. Film was beautifully shot, with a stellar cast and shined some light on some hard to watch moments.
I loved it. I went in pretty blind and was very pleasantly surprised - Carey Mulligan so subtle and powerful.Would happily rewatch. I feel like there's certainly more to uncover on another sitting.
