My favourite part of rewatching this series has been imputing new dialogue for the Kiwi actors.
Boba Fett opening the door: “Kia ora bro, you all good? Aw MEAN lightsaber bro. DAD, there’s a Jedi at the door... I’ll boil the jug.”

The first half was so incredibly slow, but it picked up somewhat in the second half when Hitchcock began to flex his horror muscles. I loved the feeling of claustrophobia he creates inside the house; it feels like a zombie movie. But the utter ridiculousness of the plot is nicely captured by the humour in the central diner scene, with the drunken man at the bar proclaiming “It’s the end of the world!”
This film is all limbs, muscles, and skin. Supple youth framed by beautiful directing. The father comforting his heart-broken son in the final third was incredibly touching.
