  This movie is so stupid but also amazing. The acting is mostly terrible but also perfect. The script is confusing but clever at the same time. 0 stars? 5 stars? Who cares? Ratings don’t matter. God bless Shyamalan and god bless movies.

  Evil Dead II 1987

  It’s insane how well this works as a sequel seeing as how it essentially erases and redoes the plot of the first. The faster pace of the story keeps you entertained every single second of this. The line between terrifying moments and gags is blurred in a way that I’ve never quite seen before. And I can’t fail to mention Ash’s upgrade from a pretty silly guy in the first one to the silliest guy ever in this one.

  A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984

  I see exactly why this is THE quintessential 80’s horror movie. The whole premise is fun and quite terrifying when you immerse yourself. I’m glad that it doesn’t overdo it on Freddy, we see him just enough. The effects also had my jaw on the floor.

  The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the ending but it really doesn’t change much. I’m already excited about coming back to this one in future Halloween seasons!
