I liked this film and felt it perfectly illustrated the importance of individualism and free will. It also depicts several almost grotesque elements of toxic masculinity which is demonstrated in a bloated way in order to almost experience it from the victim’s perspective which I think is fine perfectly. The way Alex’s consequences are shown for me ties in with the religious notes as it’s almost a hell on earth for him where he’s at the mercy of beings either…

Carrie 1976
Someone whose name rhymes with Brace Gelton told me this film was bad which set me up with a foul taste in my mouth however I personally really enjoyed this film. For me it acted as a social commentary on how bullying can push someone over the edge. I loved the connotations of blood throughout the film and I thought the religious imagery was very advanced for Steven king’s debut. It should be noted that Carrie had the biggest glow up of all time when she went to the prom which was good for her. Thanks for reading.
