The Toxic Avenger 1984
Every town needs a Toxic Avenger…
With the pacing of a morning cartoon and the violence that defined low budget 80s Grindhouse, this film excels in comedy as well as satisfying vengeance. The Troma Films never stop amazing me with how they are all put together. Everything is a joke and they never fall flat. Pure genius; self-aware and ripe with 80s nostalgia.

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
It’s good to see Anthony Mackie get the spotlight in a marvel film for once. He’s very fun to watch and overall has some good fight scenes but the story doesn’t do enough to make you care too much… It’s a real shame because I really dig the political vibe and at times goes for a more serious approach but in the end just falls on it’s face. Plot points are dropped and characters feel pushed to the side too…

Dazed and Confused 1993
Alright, alright, alright… Thank God I finally watched this masterpiece. It’s no wonder this became the Cult Classic it did, because not only is it hilarious, it’s also full of much needed 70’s Nostalgia (not like there isn’t plentiful amounts of that already). This has a rich flavour of comedic timing and perfectly cast characters, but also a tremendously relatable outlook from the teens that the story follows. They all seem genuine, no matter how much you’d like them face…

Heart Eyes 2025
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
It needs more kills and gore, because as much as I like the characters, the film spends too much time on them. I think it’s because the film is trying to homage rom-coms as well as slashers, but it does it to an extent to which it distracts from the Killer. Also I didn’t particularly like the Killer reveals as I would’ve preferred it if The HEK was a random person rather then someone that the characters know. To me…
