It's a pretty good zomcom - leaving aside the very long intro for the male lead that left me restless for Lupita to show up in her yellow dress. The kids are cute and not precocious. Lupita Nyong'o is perfect.

I thought this would be stylish celebration of violence, but it was mainly tragic like a war film. Kids deciding to die with dignity, kids panicking, kids doing their best, Chigusa being cool. A phenomenal exercise in making you care for tons of characters, sometimes in less than 10s each.
