    I've been watching Bong Joon-Ho films. This along with “Memories of Murder” is on a list of favorites of Quentin Tarantino. It's a monster movie.
    Interestingly enough, the opening scene starring Scott Wilson (Hershel from “The Walking Dead”) is based on something that actually happened. The director took this news story and expounded it into a creature feature.

    There is so much non-verbal emotion conveyed in this movie. It is truly a masterwork of performance. Naomi Watts and Robin Wright are both alluring in the role of two mothers who have been friends since they are children.
